If you’re not familiar with the band Tomorrow’s Outlook so far, the time has come to check them out very soon because they’re good, real good I mean! Actually it’s a project which was devised by two Norwegian lads named Trond Nicolaisen and his soulmate Andreas Stenseth. We've set ourselves up for this question, as we use the words band and project interchangeably in our biography. But when I look at a band with a handful of members who are practicing and playing together, I must deny that we are not. T.O. is composed of musicians from around the world. But we are not foreign to the idea of live performance in the future so I can also say that we are not just a studio project. We are a project sort of like Tobias Sammet's Avantasia, which we are otherwise very inspired by.

Tomorrow's Outlook er ute med sitt debutalbum, enkelt og greit titulert '34613'. Kle på deg litt ekstra tøy, ta turen opp til Harstad og pass deg for isbjørner! (og dinosaurer).

The village I live in is well known in the district to accommodate both fans and musicians in the heavy metal genre. Per capita, it may well be we really deserve the "Rock City" nickname. Virtually everyone in my circle of friends listens to metal, which makes me inspired to work and engage with music every day.

And yes, I also enjoy video game music. Sadly our debut album, "34613", carries way too little evidence of being inspired by VGM vs. the vision I originally had in the songwriting process. I wish that we had been inspired even more. VGM is definitely the first thing I remember hearing that really captivated me, as attached to the cerebral cortex and in fact has meant something to me. It is not impossible that it is also just video game music that steered me in the direction of metal and hard rock in the early nineties.
