34613: Lords Of Metal - English (46/100)
Untitled document

Tomorrow’s Outlook from Norway is in fact a project rather than a band. Consequently a range of different artist feature ‘34613’. I will not bother you with a very long list, but only the two most notable names of Graham Bonnet and Michael Kiske. The name Graham Bonnet does not immediately ring a bell, but he is the person who replaced the little man with the big voice Dio in Rainbow and sang the hit ‘Since You Been Gone’. And recently we saw Michael Kiske, of course known form Helloween, back with Unisonic. An interesting thing of course, putting up a project with a selection of artists and making a complete album. Pity it is all a waste of time and energy. Nowhere the album is real fun, there are not any songs which stand out and you do not feel any passion anywhere. The cover of Lizzy Borden’s ‘Red Rum’ is a clear example on which you can hear that the power in the music is missing. The sharpness of the original does not come to surface anywhere. What remains is a feeling of relief when the CD stops after 57 minutes.
